Justice Tom Parker Condemns Schiavo Killing

Montgomery — Alabama Supreme Court Justice Tom Parker calls the state-sanctioned killing of Terri Schiavo a "shameful miscarriage of justice."

"The most fundamental duty of civil government is to defend life, especially for those most vulnerable and least able to speak for themselves," Parker said. "The forced starvation of disabled Terri Schiavo — ordered and upheld by appointed judges and aided and abetted by elected officials — represents the ultimate violation of this duty."

"The Declaration of Independence, the founding document of the Unites States of America, states that 'we are endowed by our Creator with certain inalienable rights,' including the right to 'life'. An inalienable right is one that may not be taken away — not by a husband and not by a judge — so those condemning Terri to death, and those supporting that condemnation, have perpetrated a great injustice," he said.

"Some public officials who refused to act to stop Terri's unjust killing are claiming 'the rule of law' kept them from acting. But the rule of law is not whatever a judge says it is; that would be the rule of man. The unpopular truth is that when a judge issues an order contrary to a higher law such as the Constitution, that order is void and should be resisted by the leaders of other branches of government who took their own oaths before God to defend the Constitution. Whether directly involved or not, every branch that refuses to act in such case becomes culpable too," Parker said.

"Terri's forced starvation, what one critic called ‘the longest public execution in American history,' directly violates the Constitution of the State of Florida which mandates that ‘No person shall be deprived of any right because of race, religion, national origin, or physical disability,’ (Article 1, Section 2)." No judicial order can change that."

"By unduly exalting the judiciary and excusing the executive and legislative branches of government from their constitutional duty to protect life and the most vulnerable members of our society, the Schiavo case establishes a dangerous precedent of judicial supremacy."

"Thomas Jefferson warned us of the dangers of judicial supremacy: '[T]o consider the judges as the ultimate arbiters of all constitutional questions [is] a very dangerous doctrine indeed, and one which would place us under the despotism of an oligarchy.' Sadly many elected officials are content to accept such despotism because it helps them avoid controversial issues."

"Ultimately, Terri's unjust death is the result of public officials lacking moral courage and fearing man rather than God. But He sees their deeds and will call them to account: 'Woe to those judges who issue unrighteous decrees,' the Scripture says in Isaiah 10:1, 'and to the magistrates who keep causing unjust and oppressive decisions to be recorded.'"

Bush Brothers Connived at Schiavo's Murder

March 31, 2005 9:05 AM EST – Terri Schiavo died by governmentally imposed starvation. Terri's alleged unalienable right to life was waived by judicial fiat based solely upon the representations made by her husband, who, by the way, was not qualified to waive Terri's unalienable right to life either.

Most of the discussion was about "Terri's wishes," as represented by her husband, that she, allegedly, wished to be starved for 13 days. But even if this were true, which I do not believe based on an evidentiary review of facts the Courts would not hear, it doesn't much matter, since our lives do not belong to us. Instead, life is the immediate gift of God. Our lives cannot be alienated except according to God's Law without offense to He who granted us the gift.

Consider how Webster's 1828 Dictionary defines Unalienable: not alienable; that cannot be alienated; that may not be transferred; as unalienable rights. If Webster is right, and this is what our Founder's believed and covenanted with each other to secure, protect and defend, at the moment the State of Florida decreed that it would permit Terri's life to be waived, it was incumbent upon the Federal government to secure the body of Terri Schiavo for however-so-long as the State of Florida was intent on killing her.

I know the objections, "But this is a State's rights issue and to impose upon Florida a federal mandate would be to violate the principles of 'Federalism'." Such a statement can be made only by those who don't know what "Federalism" means.

In our confederated republic, there are a series of Oath, pledges and promises made between the Parties. One such promise is that government created by the States presently in Washington, DC would guarantee to each state that every other State would be "republican in form," which means that each State, as a condition of being in the Union, will share the same fundamental principles as the other States, among which is the recognition that the right to life is unalienable.

Terri Schiavo's right to life, due to the despotic act of the judiciary and the refusal of the governor to refuse obedience to an unlawful court order, was not protected. Prior to her death and pursuant to Federalist 43,§6, this gives rise to the Presidential duty to take possession of her for however-so-long as Florida intended to murder her.

If he had the temerity, the President could have recognised that America's charter declared that men are "endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable" and self-evident rights, including the right to life. President Bush could have declared that he would not stand by and watch his brother permit the murder of a woman in Florida. But, as President Bush said, "I've done all I can do," and indeed he did – which is why I did not vote for such an impotent leader. By his refusal to secure Terri's right to life, President Bush violated his Oath of office to faithfully execute the laws of the United States, including the requirement to secure Terri's life in Florida, and became a perjured wretch.

Governor Jeb Bush said, "I have talked to a whole lot of people that I respect, not just now but the first time when Terri's law was passed, to make the determination of what my powers are and they are not as expansive as people would want them to be … And I understand, they're acting on their heart and I fully appreciate their sentiments and the emotions that go with this, but .... I've consistently said that I can't go beyond what my powers are and I'm not going to do it. There are 90,000 abortions that take place in this state every year. That troubles me more than I can ever describe, but that doesn't mean that I have some secret powers to stop that. There are a lot of things that go on in society that trouble me and this is certainly one of them. To have someone starve to death troubles me greatly and we have done everything we can and we will continue to do so within the powers that I have."

While Governor Bush was "troubled" by the starvation of a woman in Florida, the state over which he possesses "supreme Executive powers," he officially consented that Terri be starved to death. Governor Bush connived at the impious command of the Court, violated his Oath of office protect Terri's unalienable right and became a perjured wretch.

Indeed, Governor Bush, you had the power, and were Oath-bound to save Terri. You have the power, and are Oath-bound to save 90,000 babies each year. Indeed, President Bush, you had the power, and were Oath-bound, to save Terri. You have the power, and are Oath-bound, to secure the right to life of the nearly 1.5 million babies who have their "unalienable" right to life waived by their mother in the various States. I expect you both will remain seated on your hands, "personally troubled" but politically impotent.

And why do we have such impotent and perjured wretches as our leaders? Because "We the People" keep electing them. The blood of Terri Schiavo is not only on the hands of George W. Bush and Jeb Bush, but also on each and every voter who cast their lot with them.

Terri Schiavo Murdered: Many Accomplices, Including Journalists Like Cal Thomas

Terri Schiavo is dead. Her murder has now actually occurred. I hope she died as a Christian because, if she did, God's Word promises that she is now with the Lord and can look forward to a new body "fashioned like unto His glorious body" (Philippians 3:21).

The innocent blood of Terri Schiavo is on the hands of many people who had it within their power to stop her murder. Her innocent blood is on the hands of, among others, President Bush, Governor Bush, her ex-husband, Judge George W. Greer. The innocent blood of this murdered, handicapped woman is also on the hands of those individuals who have a public pulpit, failed to call what was being done to her murder, and who attacked those who were trying to stop her murder.

In this latter category is columnist Cal Thomas, a man who claims to be a Christian but is totally clueless about the murder of Terri Schiavo and what his professed faith requires of him.

For openers, in a recent column about Terri Schiavo (3/30/05), Thomas not once used the word "murder" which is the word that accurately describes what was done to her. This, right away, shows he is without understanding as to what was actually occurring --- in broad daylight, in cold blood --- before our very eyes.

In this column, Thomas criticizes those Christians who, in his words, have "called for defiance of authority, suggesting Florida officials disobey court orders, 'rescue' Terri from her hospice bed and reinsert her feeding tube." He castigates "certain people" because they "seem to be arguing that only those laws and judicial rulings with which they agree are to be obeyed. That invites anarchy." He adds: "Some of those calling for the law to be disobeyed were ordained clergy, which is especially troubling."

But, there is, according to God's Word, no legitimate "authority" to order anybody to be MURDERED! In fact, God says, in the 10 Commandments, that nobody should MURDER anybody! Thus, any court order that orders anyone to be MURDERED is illegitimate and MUST be resisted by ALL Christians.

And it is not at all "especially troubling" that some Christian clergy were calling for disobedience to un-Godly, anti-Christian court rulings that order murder. This is what Christian clergy SHOULD, indeed MUST, be doing. What is "especially troubling" is that a supposedly Christian columnist like Thomas is criticizing such truly Godly men.

Thomas writes: "Should Gov. Jeb Bush have defied the courts and ordered that Schiavo be 'rescued'? Perhaps he had such authority; perhaps not. But that does not give people, especially Christians, the right to rebel against judicial authority. Only when they are ordered to stop preaching the Gospel are they permitted to disobey. They can, and should, work within the system to change judges and the way laws are interpreted."

Wrong! No Christian is required to "work within" ANY corrupt, un-Godly, anti-Christian system. Not at all.

And why does Thomas seem to be mocking the idea of "rescuing" Terri Schiavo from being murdered? The New International Version translation of Proverbs 24:11-12, referring to those who are innocent, reads: "Rescue those being led away to death ... If you say, 'But we knew nothing about this,' does not He Who weighs the heart perceive it? Does not He Who guards your life know it? Will He not repay each person according to what he has done?" Explaining this passage from God's Word, the great Puritan Bible commentator Matthew Henry says that it requires "a great duty" from us, "that is to appear for the relief of oppressed innocency," that we ought "to bestir ourselves all we can to save them ... If any [innocent person] be set upon by force or violence, and it be in our power to rescue them, we ought to do it."

Also, Proverbs 3:27, God commands all of us: "Withhold not good from them to whom it is due, when it is in the power of thine hand to do it." Amen! And in Terri Schiavo's case it would certainly, without a doubt, be doing something "good" to prevent her MURDER!

True, we should disobey when Caesar commands Christians to stop preaching the Gospel. But, God's command to obey Him rather than men is a much broader command dealing with much more than Gospel-preaching. It is a command to disobey Caesar when Caesar commands ANYTHING that is against God's Word --- like MURDERING an innocent human being!

Thomas says that especially Christians do not have "the right to rebel against judicial authority." But, one more time, Christians most certainly do have such a right IF THE JUDICIAL AUTHORITY IS ORDERING THE MURDER OF AN INNOCENT HUMAN BEING, WHICH TERRI SCHIAVO WAS!

Cal Thomas, in this column, gives lip-service to the pro-life argument of those speaking out to save Terri Schiavo from being murdered. He says he shares their concern. But, regardless of what he says, he does NOT share their concerns. Thomas' wrong-headed, un-Godly, anti-Christian, Biblically-illiterate column reveals that he bows the knee to the courts treating them as if THEY are God, which they are not.

A footnote: Thomas also criticized former Alabama Supreme Court Chief Justice Roy S. Moore for not obeying un-Godly, illegal court orders.

Jackson: More Senators Back Bid to Save Terri - We May Have Enough Votes!

Rev. Jesse Jackson said Tuesday afternoon that he has persuaded two Florida state senators to change their votes on a bill to save Terri Schiavo, leaving the measure just one vote shy of the majority necessary for passage.

"Two of them have committed to meeting with Gov. Jeb Bush. They say that they're flexible if they can find acceptable emergency language," Jackson told ABC Radio host Sean Hannity.

Targeting members of the state senate's black caucus in a bid to save Schiavo, Jackson explained: "While we didn't have the specific language today, if I could just get them to shift their will to do whatever [we can] within the law to help her live, that would be a victory."

"They've made that commitment," the civil rights leader added. "I hope it turns into something concrete, signed by morningtime."

Asked if he thought he'd convert the additional vote that would guarantee passage, Jackson said: "If we get two - with the help of Gov. Jeb Bush, we can get three. . . If I was able to persuade two - if he could persuade one, we can change that vote."

The top Democrat said he had contacted the governor's office and was awaiting a return call, saying, "I hope that he will call me and I hope to share with him my position."

Jackson said he would return to Florida tomorrow if he determines it is "the best, most effective way" to save Schiavo.

"I will fly to Tallahassee or Washington or anyplace," he said.

Terri Schiavo Isn't The Only One Dying-So Is Lady Liberty!

How is it possible? How could it happen in the United States of America? We could understand it if this happened in Nazi Germany or in Stalin's Russia or in Mao's China, but how could it happen in America?

How can a nation whose core principles protect the rights of life and liberty for every citizen allow (even condone) a woman to be slowly and painfully starved to death? This is beyond comprehension.

There are so many elements to this story that it is very difficult to deal with them all, especially in one column. Let me try to highlight a couple of the more glaring lessons that come out of this tragic story.

Under Florida statutes, Terri's husband, Michael, is legally authorized to make life or death decisions on behalf of his wife. These statutes are, no doubt, rooted in the principle that the marriage relationship of a man and a woman is the cornerstone of the family and of all society. In principle, this is a very good thing. No one, at least not me, wants the state meddling in the affairs of the family except under dire and extreme circumstances.

However, are not the circumstances surrounding the Terri Schiavo affair dire and extreme? Does not the state intervene in family matters hundreds, even thousands, of times every year for matters much less severe than those surrounding Terri Schaivo?

Obviously, state laws recognizing the authority and right of a spouse to speak for his or her mate in life-threatening matters hinges on the presupposition that the spouse truly loves his or her mate and seeks the mate's best interest. Unfortunately, too many times, a spouse will prove by his or her actions that he or she does not have the mate's best interests at heart, and the state is forced to intervene.

Can any objective person who is even vaguely familiar with Terri's story not readily admit that there is more than ample evidence of misconduct and mismanagement of Terri's care and oversight by husband Michael Schiavo? This part of the story is a no-brainer!

Where is the curiosity for truth and the desire for justice on the part of local and state law enforcement, state attorneys, and local and state judges located in Pinellas Park and in the State of Florida? Is there not plenty of circumstantial evidence to suggest that Michael is acting out of motives that are unclear, uncertain, and perhaps even unscrupulous?

Somewhere within the vast bureaucracy of law enforcement and the state judiciary, there must be mechanisms in place to circumvent state ordered starvation! Yet, despite all the hullabaloo of Florida politicians, Terri Schiavo is slowly dying of starvation and dehydration! I cannot imagine a more painful death.

Does anyone in their right mind really believe that the starvation of a young woman whose medical condition is anything but certain (after all, more than 30 physicians, including numerous specialists, have emphatically declared that Terri Schiavo is not in a "persistent vegetative state") is what lawmakers had in mind when they created the state laws that are now being used to justify Terri's tortuous death? Get real!

Another glaring lesson is that of how the executive and legislative branches of government (both state and federal) are ceding power to the judiciary at a frightening pace! For all practical purposes, we do not have three "separate but equal" branches of government anymore. Instead, we have an all-powerful judiciary with no checks and balances provided by the other two branches. The Terri Schiavo case shines neon lights upon this reality.

There is no question to anyone who understands the Separation of Powers doctrine that Governor Jeb Bush has the discretionary authority and obligation to faithfully execute his state's laws protecting the right to life. This same authority is given to all state governors. And in matters relating to the federal government, this same authority is granted to the President of the United States.

In Governor Bush's case, Article I, Section 2, of the Florida State Constitution clearly says, "[a]ll natural persons, female and male alike, are equal before the law, and have inalienable rights, among which are the right to enjoy and defend life." Furthermore, Article I, Section 2, states that no person shall be deprived of any right because of "physical disability."

Further still, Article IV, Section 1, of the Florida State Constitution emphatically says that "the supreme executive power" of the State of Florida is vested in the "governor, who shall take care that the laws be faithfully executed."

Neither is any chief executive bound by the opinions of the judiciary. Thomas Jefferson said in 1819 that "[E]ach of the three departments has equally the right to decide for itself what is its duty under the constitution without regard to what the others may have decided for themselves under a similar question."

President Andrew Jackson agreed with Jefferson. He once observed that "[judicial] precedent is a dangerous source of authority, and should not be regarded as deciding questions of constitutional authority." Jackson also categorically stated that a president (or governor) is bound by his oath of office to decide matters of constitutional right and power according to the executive's interpretation of the constitution, not according to the judiciary's interpretation!

Consider also that Alexander Hamilton wrote in Federalist No. 78 that the exercise of judicial power is subject to the check and balance of the executive branch, which, alone, has the power to enforce a judicial order.

Thus, if a court order is contrary to the law of the inalienable right to life, as the order in the Schiavo case surely is, then Governor Bush has the vested authority to intervene and stop any action pursuant to that court order. In other words, Jeb Bush could have taken custody of Terri Schiavo and seen to it that her feeding tube was not removed at anytime, all the political rambling and double- speak notwithstanding!

However, instead of faithfully executing the laws of Florida, which protect people such as Terri Schiavo, Jeb Bush decided to wash his hands of the matter and turn Terri over to the will of the judiciary. Shades of Pontius Pilate!

It should be clear to anyone willing to see that while Terri Schiavo suffers what must be an agonizing death, Lady Liberty is also dying. Her feeding tube, the feeding tube of constitutional government and bedrock principle, has been removed, and she is starving for want of the fundamental fluids that maintain her health and vitality.

Oh! I'm sure readers will be pleased to know that the same State of Florida that has given its blessing to the slow starvation death of Terri Schiavo has just arrested a rancher in Immokalee, Florida, for starving his cows. According to press reports, his remaining cows were seized and fed by Domestic Animal Services. How comforting!

The Governor and the President Have Murdered Terri Schiavo

Yesterday, I spoke to a good friend in Florida. My friend is also my business partner and we discussed business for a few minutes. But our hearts were both heavy with the public murder of Terri Schiavo. My partner said something that caught me short and took my breath away.

He said, “Well, at least Jeb Bush tried to do something. He tried to save her life.”

I felt my blood rising.

No, I told my long time friend. Then I found myself saying it a little louder. “NO!” I repeated, “He did no such thing!” What infuriated me was the realization that they (the Bushes and the media pundits) had convinced my good friend that Bush had honestly tried to save Terri's life. To the contrary, I rushed to explain to him, the actions and explanations of Jeb and George Bush are the thinnest sophistry and can not be viewed as credible.

There is no reason to believe Governor Bush or President Bush when they say that they tried to help Terri Schiavo. In fact, whether or not Terri is still breathing at this moment, they are accomplices to murder.

And - make no mistake - this is murder. Murder most foul! Murder carried out in broad daylight by a judge, a police force, the Governor of Florida, and the President of the United States.

That’s right. George Bush, against whom I ran for President, has murdered Terri Schiavo.

As I stated in my open letter to both Governor Bush and President Bush a few days ago, they have not only the means and the ability to save her life, but the affirmative duty to do so.

Right now, they have hidden behind the thin veil that, as executives, they are subject to the opinions of judges which they call the “rule of law” when it’s convenient for them to do so. But the opinions of a state or federal judge are not the rule of law. They are merely opinions.

The Governor of Florida, by his oath of office, has an affirmative duty to uphold the law and to protect innocent life in his jurisdiction – regardless of what any judge says! Moreover, his police powers extend to the prevention of crimes, including murder. The well-publicized murder of Terri Schiavo is being carried out before him while he wrings his hands, expecting us to believe that he would stop it but he just can’t.

Yes he can.

The police do not work for the judicial branch of government. They work for the executive.

And does George W. Bush really expect us to believe that he can send our sons and daughters to all corners of the world fighting “terrorists” but he can’t stop the terrorist act of public execution taking place in Florida? Five years ago, on Easter Sunday Morning, the U.S. Justice Department thought they had the authority to raid a Florida home to steal Elian Gonzales from his mother’s family. So, why can’t they steal Terri Schiavo from those who are killing her?

When I consider these things, I ask myself why these brothers, who claim to be Christian, would not use the authority and means at their disposal to stop this terror in America.

Could it be that both brothers, while elected to executive positions, realize that it's the unelected judiciary that advances the internationalist agenda that their father spoke about (the New World Order)? Don't many of their globalist initiatives depend on the fact that we believe, falsely, that “law” is a changing, dynamic thing, and that judges, as the agents of that change, can “make” law. Could it be that while the Bush brothers and their one worlder colleagues put up a fight against the United Nations or, in this case, against a state judge, that they really don’t intend to win?

Could it all be a sham, start to finish? Could it be that they just want to look like they care about Terri Schiavo – or you – or me, or the Constitution, or America, but they don’t?

When they have us thoroughly convinced that judges can make up law, even to the extent that they can murder our daughters in front of our eyes, then they can do anything they want. They will have their new order.

Our founders recognized that all law, and liberty and government come from God. They founded our country on the presupposition that Christ is Lord. He still is Lord. He always was and always will be. He is Risen and through His Resurrection we can face tomorrow with hope. He is Sovereign. Amen.

This is murder and the Bush brothers are accomplices.

Somebody has to say it.

Terri Schiavo's father, Bob Schindler, would like to correct this with following statement:

"What I meant to have announced was that people should go home and go to church with their families on Easter Sunday. But not to stay home. We want people to continue to be here [at the hospice] with Terri, and with us." -- Bob Schindler, Sr.

The 24-hour vigil will continue in front of the Woodside Hospice, where Terri lives, located at 6774 102nd Avenue N. (near 66th Street N and 102nd Avenue N) in Pinellas Park, Florida.

Terri Schiavo Has Not Given Up, Neither Are We, says Attorneys and Family

According to news reports, Attorney Gibbs has filed a motion today with Judge Greer on testimony about Terri's attempt to communicate last Friday (March 18, 2005) that she wants to live.Judge Greer asked why it took so long for this claim to come before him....(I will refrain from the obvious answer here.)

Barbara Weller, Esq., is putting her entire professional reputation as an officer of the court on the line. If she is not telling the truth she would not only be found guilty of perjury, she would sacrifice her career by being disbarred.

Terri Schiavo has begun to die

Terri Schiavo has begun to die, and it is a most gruesome and terrifying death indeed.

(...) her eyes are sinking into her skull, her skin is flaking, her tongue is drying out. This, according to those who saw her yesterday in a Pinellas Park hospice where she lies bedridden and at the mercy(sic) of her caregivers(also sic).

Nineteen judges have failed to review the actions of one judge having a single agenda - kill Terri Schiavo and further the cause of euthanasia. All of the actions of the nineteen have been to only rule on the judge with an agenda, and to rule that he has the right to rule. Nothing was done de novo. No effort was ever made to review the real facts in the case, particularly, the basis upon which Judge George Greer made the determination that Michael Schiavo had provided clear and convincing evidence that Terri wanted to die - a ruling made on the basis of hearsay. Make sense? Others may in good faith believe otherwise, but for me, I will never understand the injustice of the justice applied in the sunset of Terri Schiavo's life.

Dr. Kennedy: Jeb Bush Has Duty to Preserve Life of Terri Schiavo

Fort Lauderdale (March 24, 2005) — Dr. D. James Kennedy issued the following statement today:

Governor Jeb Bush is to be commended for all he has done in seeking to save the life of Terri Schiavo. His course of action thus far has proven fruitless. Neither the state legislature nor the courts, state or federal, have been willing to act on behalf of this helpless woman who is now within hours of death.

As Governor, Jeb Bush is the only legal authority who can save the life of Terri Schiavo. He must act and he must act immediately on her behalf. He must disregard the order of Judge Greer. He has both the authority and the duty to do so under the state constitution.

The Florida constitution states in Article I, Section 2, that "[a]ll natural persons, female and male alike, are equal before the law, and have inalienable rights, among which are the right to enjoy and defend life ...." According to the Constitution, "no person shall be deprived of any right [including the right to enjoy life] because of ... physical disability."

As governor, Jeb Bush has the “supreme executive power,” and the constitutional duty, stated in Article IV, Section 1, to "take care that the laws be faithfully executed." The governor, who is sworn to uphold the constitution, is obligated to safeguard this constitutional guarantee of the "inalienable right ... to enjoy and defend life," regardless of physical disability.

The Governor may not disregard that obligation even if a member of the judiciary has ordered otherwise. He is not bound by a court order that is at odds with a constitutional guarantee.

Thomas Jefferson said that “[T]o consider the judges as the ultimate arbiters of all constitutional questions [is] a very dangerous doctrine indeed, and one which would place us under the despotism of an oligarchy.” Abraham Lincoln disregarded the U.S. Supreme Court’s ruling in Dred Scott when he issued the Emancipation Declaration.

Governor Bush has tried patiently to work with the courts and the legislature but to no avail. Now, at the very last moment, he has a constitutional duty to protect Terri Schiavo’s "inalienable right ... to enjoy and defend life." Jeb Bush must choose between the clear mandate of Florida’s constitution and a judiciary which, in this case, has acted in defiance of that state supreme law.

After all this time of praying, petitioning, and lobbying, it comes down to this.

Michael Schiavo’s Attorney Helped to Fund Judge Greer Re-Election Campaign

As if the circumstances surrounding Terri Schiavo could not get any more suspicious, the Center for Reclaiming America has uncovered evidence that Pinellas-Pasco County Circuit Judge George W. Greer accepted a campaign contribution from the law firm of Michael Schiavo’s attorney only one day after “Terri’s Law” was declared unconstitutional by a Pinellas county court.

Judge Greer’s Role in the Starvation of Terri Schiavo

This appears to establish a clear conflict of interest between Judge Greer and the best interests of Terri Schiavo. Judge Greer has been responsible for establishing “the facts” in the case of Terri Schiavo. Sadly, he has dismissed or ignored testimony from 33 physicians (15 neurologists) who are willing to testify that Terri is not in a persistent vegetative state and can improve, he has refused to allow the Florida Department of Children and Families to conduct a criminal investigation of Michael Schiavo, he has refused to honor a subpoena from the U.S. Congress, and he has blocked virtually all efforts from the Schindler family to save the life of their daughter.

Law Firm Donates to Greer Re-Election Campaign

According to public records available from the Florida Department of State: Division of Elections, Judge George W. Greer received a campaign contribution from the law firm of Felos & Felos during his re-election efforts in the spring of 2004.

Of course, no direct evidence suggests collusion between the two parties, but the timing of the campaign contribution is highly suspect. On May 6, 2004, a Pinellas county court struck down legislation (“Terri’s Law”) passed by the Florida legislature and signed by Governor Jeb Bush, which was designed to halt a previous attempt to starve Terri Schiavo to death. On May 7, 2004 — only one day after the ruling — Judge Greer received a campaign gift from the law firm of Michael Schiavo’s attorney.

This was not due to a fundraising effort, as this was the only contribution made to the Greer campaign fund on that particular day.

Contact Governor Bush and encourage him to protect the life of Terri Schiavo and expose the highly suspicious details behind Pinellas-Pasco County Circuit Judge George Greer’s campaign fundraising records.

Why Jeb Bush has the power to act now

Despite action by the Congress to create an opportunity for the federal courts to review and correct the violation of Terri Schiavo's most basic rights, the latest effort to prevent her judicially sanctioned murder by starvation appears to be headed for failure.

This is just the latest, and the most poignantly tragic instance of judicial abuse tending to corrupt and destroy the moral fabric of the nation.

Despite the outward appearance of deliberation, what we witness now as an ongoing feature of the conduct of the judiciary at every level amounts to a judicial riot, in which judges and justices take it upon themselves to disregard the prerogatives of the other branches in order to assert an exclusive and tyrannical control of public standards and conduct.

Why is this happening?

The root of the problem is the abuse of the power of judicial review. This played a role in the Schiavo case, when the Florida state Supreme Court declared unconstitutional the Florida legislature's attempt to authorize protection for Terri Schiavo's continued access to nutrition.

But in a constitutional system based on checks and balances, one branch can run riot only if some other branch fails to exert the power necessary to constrain its actions within constitutional bounds.

This means that the rise of judicial tyranny represents a failure elsewhere in the government. Now we know that in the Schiavo case, both the Florida and the national legislatures exerted themselves in an effort to secure her basic right to life. They failed because the judiciary has the power to invalidate their actions, either in application or through the power of judicial review.

In the end, the constraint of judicial abuse is especially the responsibility of the executive branch of government, since the executive has both the opportunity and the obligation to act without the interference of the judiciary, provided that in doing so he consults the political will of the legislative power.

Until and unless the people elected to wield executive power in our national and state governments recognize and act upon this responsibility, the judiciary will go unchecked, destroying the balance of power among the branches and with it our system of free, representative self-government.

The essay that follows reviews the thinking behind the separation of powers argument that substantiates this understanding of the current crisis of judicial abuse. Though it focuses on the Schiavo case as an critical and currently urgent instance of this crisis, it has a bearing as well on the judicial assault on marriage in Massachusetts, and the general judicial assault on public piety taking place through the nation.

The implication of the argument is clear: We cannot pin our hopes on new judges to end this long era of judicial usurpation. We need chief executives with the understanding, articulateness and courage to assert the executive prerogative that will remind the judges that under our constitutional principles neither the judges, nor the legislatures nor the executives may claim permanent supremacy -- rather it is the constitutional power of the people that is superior to them all.

They are being held at pick up centers. Tomorrow morning I will call three possible recipients (i.e. a church, a shelter, a food bank) and I will post them. I want to speak with them directly to be sure they will take delivery and assist in our effort to take this stand. Innocent Blood on Hands of Bush Brothers - and God's Wrath - If Everything Not Done to Save Terri Schiavo

The following "Open Letter" to President George W. Bush and Florida Governor Jeb Bush has been issued by myself and my brother Stephen Peroutka

Dear Mr. President And Governor Bush:

Greetings, friends, in the blessed Name of our Lord, apart from Whom we can do nothing (John 15:5). We write to both of you as fellow Christians and beseech you, respectfully, to do everything within your considerable power to keep Terri Schiavo from being murdered in cold blood.

The New International Version translation of Proverbs 24:11-12, referring to those who are innocent, reads: "Rescue those being led away to death ... If you say, 'But we knew nothing about this,' does not He Who weighs the heart perceive it? Does not He Who guards your life know it? Will He not repay each person according to what he has done?"

Explaining this passage from God's Word, the great Puritan Bible commentator Matthew Henry says that it requires "a great duty" from us, "that is to appear for the relief of oppressed innocency," that we ought "to bestir ourselves all we can to save them ... If any [innocent person] be set upon by force or violence, and it be in our power to rescue them, we ought to do it."

This Proverb, of course, applies to all of us. But, all of us do not have it within our power and ability to rescue Terri Schiavo, to stop her from being murdered in cold blood.

You, Mr. President, and you, Governor Bush do, however, have this power. And we intend no presumption, sirs, when we tell both of you that you must exercise the power you have to save Terri Schiavo's life because God commands you to do so and your oath of office makes it your affirmative duty!

Both of you have the power and ability to stop the murder of Terri Schiavo. If you do not act and use the power you have, her innocent blood will be on your hands.

Here, please, are some of the things we think both of you have the power and ability to do right away:

--- You, Mr. President, could order Federal marshals to be sent to guard Terri Schiavo, have her feeding tube reinserted, and arrest anyone who attempted her murder by removing this tube. If her case goes all the way to the U.S. Supreme Court, and the ruling there is to take her feeding tube out, ignore this ruling and leave the Federal marshals there as long as is necessary to keep her from being murdered. Any court ruling that orders murder is illegal and binds nobody.

--- You, Governor Bush, could do, basically, the same thing --- order your relevant law enforcement personnel to take Terri Schiavo into protective custody; order her feeding tube to be reinserted; and arrest anyone who attempts to murder her be removing this feeding tube. And if any court, at any level, orders her feeding tube to be removed, ignore this order because no court order that orders the murder of anybody has any validity.

Mr. President, Governor Bush, you are men to whom much has been given; thus much is required of you. We pray fervently that you do your Christian and Constitutional duty (remember your oath) and act now to save the life of Terri Schiavo.

Every politician, it is said, has skeletons in his closet, but this is ridiculous. In the cases of President George W. Bush and Senator John F. Kerry (D-Mass.), we have two politicos whose careers, literally, were launched in a crypt full of skeletons. The crypt we refer to is the hulking mausoleum on the Yale campus that houses The Order of the Skull and Bones, the infamous, occultic fraternity that both men joined in the 1960s during their senior year at the university. Both Bush and Kerry have been asked in recent interviews about their membership in this very old, super-secret club. Each has waved off the question with a laugh and refused to say anything further on the matter. And the Establishment media have politely dropped the subject.
For the first time in history the race for the U.S. presidency is shaping up to be completely a "Bonesman" affair. What are the odds that out of a population of nearly 300 million the two front-runners for the most powerful political office in the world would be "brothers" in a super-elite, secret society that numbers probably fewer than 800 living members? The odds are even slimmer than that, since only a handful of that already minuscule number actually hold political office and would, therefore, be potential candidates. Nevertheless, a pair of Bonesmen are poised to carry the Republican and Democrat banners in the forthcoming quadrennial contest. We’ll leave the statistical computing to the mathematicians, but it’s obvious even to those of us who are mathematically challenged that the Bush-Kerry match-up in the current White House run is a bizarre "coincidence" that strains the laws of probability.

Who Knew Whom, and When?

Did John Kerry (Bones 1966) and George W. Bush (Bones 1968) know each other at Yale? Kerry says they did while Bush says they didn’t. But neither will talk about Skull and Bones.

In his televised February 9 White House interview with George W. Bush, Tim Russert quoted a derogatory statement by Senator John Kerry concerning President Bush’s "lack of knowledge" and the heavy image management by the president’s handlers. Kerry’s quote ended with this gibe at Bush: "I know this guy. He was two years behind me at Yale. I knew him, and he’s still the same guy."

After reading this quote Russert asked the president: "Did you know him at Yale?"
President Bush responded with a single word: "No."

It could be, of course, that Mr. Kerry is lying (or is the victim of a faulty memory) about knowing Mr. Bush at Yale. The New York Times’ Elizabeth Bumiller treats their acquaintance at Yale as a matter of fact. "Did Mr. Kerry, class of ’66, and Mr. Bush, class of ’68, know each other at Yale?" she asks in her February 2 column. "More to the point, did they ever participate together in a Skull and Bones rite in the club’s windowless crypt?" "The answer to the first question," she writes, "is yes, and the answer to the second question is no, at least not as far as anyone knows or admits." She does not reveal the provenance of her information; perhaps it was the same Kerry quote mentioned above, perhaps other sources, possibly a resident Bonesman at the Times.
Bumiller then quotes an interesting statement from David Wade, Senator Kerry’s spokesman. "Rest assured," said Mr. Wade, "there are no pictures of them dancing together naked," a reference to S&B rituals of dancing and mud-wrestling naked. Note, he didn’t say that such casual perversion didn’t occur, just that there were no photos of such an event.
Based on what we know of the exclusive culture of Yale and the far more exclusive (and intimate!) S&B culture, Mr. Kerry’s statement is more plausible than Mr. Bush’s. The Order is closely integrated horizontally and vertically and it would seem highly unlikely that their paths would not have crossed. Did the president lie about this? If so, why? Was Kerry invited to the hush-hush Skull and Bones reunion that President Bush hosted at the White House in 2001? Which Bonesmen attended this ultra-exclusive soiree? These are fair questions that demand answers.

I want to let everyone know that my Dad,Mom and I and a few others in our city will be voting for Michael Peroutka. Why you may ask? Because firstly God tells us we should elect Christian men into office and Bush nor Kerry is a Chrisitan. And the lesser of the two evils is still evil and we do not have the "Spirit of fear" that controls many Christians today. I praise the Lord that there is someone for Chrisitans to vote for that will Honor God, Defend the Family and Restore out Constitutional Representative Republic!

It also standardizes state drivers licenses to pave the way for a national ID card. Worse yet, it authorizes the Attorney General to force businesses to submit information about job applicants to the government for approval, and even to give the government fingerprints and other biometric information. These steps lay the foundation for a police state. These provisions would give unelected bureaucrats the power to make American citizens NON-PERSONS without due process of law. THIS MUST BE STOPPED. Hello all long time no post:P

I watched the first of the three Presidential debates on Thursday and all I have to say is how in the world can people vote for those two clowns? They are both Skull & Bones and they are related! There was not one mention on the real issues abortion, gun rights, protecting marriage etc.... All the talk was about foreign stuff. We should not even be over in Iraq it is a unconstitutional,undeclared war we have no business being over there.

I cannot not in good conscience vote for any of those two guys. That's why I am voting for Michael Peroutka the Constitution Party Nominee.

Michael Peroutka is 100% against the war in Iraq and will bring our troops home quickly. He is also 100% against abortion. He 100% for the right to keep and bear arms. He is 100% against sodomy. To see where Michael stands on other issues click here.
